Week 14

The dress I posted last week was a vintage dress bought way back in the late 80s. I loved it, and wore it to several events. It was only last year when I parted with it to a designer 2nd hand shop in Warwick ( as it didn’t fit any more!) . I enquired where it had been sold to and the shop owner confirmed it had been sent out to the USA. I wonder who it belongs to now, it will have a story of its own to tell.

More vintage . My grandmother’s mohair coat . Long gone now but much worn and loved.
Still hanging in my wardrobe,a vintage jacket from the 1940’s. It still fits and I’m not parting with it.
Apparently Worsted Barathea is rare and the jacket is sort after by collectors

Finally managed to dress up a bit this week and ditch the jeans for the excitement of a visit to the pharmacist to collect a prescription, and Waitrose. Wonder what I’ll wear for my exciting outing to Sainsbury‘s this coming weekend?

Shopping outfit. The most I dressed up this week!
